Emergency Medical Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: All EMT’s are responsible for rushing to the crime scene and perform life saving techniques including patient assessment and emergency birth assessment. Also, extracting patients from dangerous situations.  

Salary: $31,700 per year

Education: Approved training programs at appropriate EMT level. State license registry of emergency medical technicians.

Demand for this profession: They are projected to grow 24 percent for 2014 to 2024, much faster than the average for all occupations due to car accidents and natural disasters.

Reflection: I would want to become a emt in the future because I am fascinated with how they help others in need. Also because it is in the medical field and ,my goal is to get there one day.
