"You will go far with CTR." -Mr. Haymore

This statement means that with ctr you are guaranteed to go far. If you choose to be the right person than you will always go the right paths because you always choose the right. And you know you won't choose the wrong. For example if you are a CTW person then you would be always choosing the wrong. With ctr there are many places you could go for example you could be that one person who always chooses the right that everyone likes. Or you could be the person who chooses the wrong and nobody like. And if you continue to be a ctr person then you could have a family and be a ctr family. Or if you want to be the family that chooses the wrong. With you choosing the right you should influence other to do the same. But when you are a ctw person then don't even bother to discourage other from choosing the right.

Class Evaluation 

      There are several things I liked about this class. But the main thing I liked about this class was researching medical career pathways. I really got to learn about many different career pathways for example my favorite research was a surgeon. I got to find out how much they earn per year and hour. I also know to see what the life of a surgeon is like and the demand for that profession.       There was not that many things I did not like about the class. for example I did not like the SSS of the day because it wasn't helpful. But then again I saw how it was helpful in a way because we got to practice our typing skills. We also got to practice how fast we type. I did not like the video examples supporting the SSS of the day. Another thing that I didn't like was the 100+ goals journal because it was to related to the class topic.      Some recommendations for improving the class is to do more activities related to digital computing. Such as doing more typing tutorials. Also, you should show the students how to code. And not just tell the students to watch  the video. The videos the website provided to us were not helpful at all to me at all. You should do different activities daily and adjust the daily schedule because going through the same schedule is going to get boring at some point of the year.       The highlight of my year was working on the mini projects you assigned to us. Like the CTR project was fun because I got to find more about CTR and trying out things google docs offers us. I also liked the google worksheet you helped us do. Another highlight was the SSS " You knew what I was when you picked me up" I feel like we all can relate the the statement because we all have done something bad and we knew what we have done but yet we still did it.       I did do my best in this class because it was one of the easiest class I had. I did the homework you assigned to us when we did have homework.       No, I am not reading my daily goals journal everyday. Because I only read them on weekdays. And on the weekends I don't read them because sometimes I forget it in my locker.      Yes, I am committed to being a ctr person. But, there has been some fails trying to do it 24/7. I always try my best to do the right. And there has been some times that I have been tempted to do the wrong instead of doing the right. 

"THE ULTIMATE CHOICE is to be a CTR Person-to Always CHOOSE THE RIGHT 24/7 !!!" -Mr Haymore 

Many of have had a choice to make. Ranging from good to bad but do we ever choose the right. You are given many chances to make the right decision. For example if you find a $100 bill on the floor and the person who has dropped is walking away and you see them what would you do? But many of us would just pick the money up and walk away knocking it was someone's money and doing the wrong decision. But if it were to go the other way and the right thing by giving her money back then in return you would receive happiness. Sometimes or most of the times we only do the right thing but what is actually suppose to happen is choosing the right 24/7. Meaning day and night 7 days a week you do the right thing and you don't do the wrong. The more CTR you do the more joy would go back to you. Choosing the wrong will not get you anywhere but all that will happen is you will have hatred inside you.

If there is beauty in character, there will be harmony in the home. If there is harmony at home. There will be order in the nation. If there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world. Some examples of not giving peace to the world is doing drugs. And that can be changed and you would give peace to the world by doing that. Or you can give back to your community. Help others when they are in need and give peace. Or you can visit someone in the hospital and give peace to them. Or you can also study with your friends for a test or quiz and prevent bad things from happening. 

Yoga therapist

Duties and Responsibilities: They have to keep their clients healthy at all times and also flexible and safe. They must ensure that all poses are done correctly without a injury occurring. They also need to provide mats for their students.

Reflection: I would not want to become a yoga therapist because it doesn't get my attention. It is also not in the field I would want to work at.

"A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder." 

In life we all have goals and some of us don't. We either want to be something in the future or specialize a career field. Going back to the statement a boat uses a rudder to move in what direction they are willing to move in. And in live without goals you don't do anything and don't go anywhere. For example if you want to be a doctor in the future then you have a rudder because you know in what direction you will head towards. But, if you don't have a goal then you aren't going nowhere. So you don't know where you are leading to like a boat without a rudder you don't know where you are going. You just go where the wind is blowing to and that relates to having no goals. Another goal is wanting to make a difference in life. In order to achieve that goal you would need a rudder. To have a rudder in life you will have to set your mind to something you want. And with a rudder you would be able to manage where you want to go in life.

Memorial Day Weekend 

During memorial day weekend I spend time with my family and we did family BBQ. I also worked on my 6 page essay for my English class. The essay took almost the whole day because it was more than 10 paragraphs. I met some of my family members ranging from aunts uncles and cousins. I also went to my friends house and other friends tagged along. Some movies we saw were Chukie and E.T. It was really fun because we went to go get pizza and then watch movies and music videos. Places I wet was to my cousins house in Hollywood and then most of our family members met there. Then we went to get Chinese food the following day. We also went to go visit china town that same day. There was a lot of people there and I got a turtle there.

"When a deep injury is done us, we never recover until we forgive." - Alan Paton 

We will never recover or win anything is we don't forgive what a person has done to us. If someone has hurt us we will not receive anything by hating but to grow bitter and rude. If we the hate person who has hurt us in the past then they person would take pride in what they have done. If we don't forgive then we will never forget that time. And we would always remember what they have done to us. For example if someone killed someone related to you and have hatred toward them then they would be happy and take pride in what they have done. And you don't receive anything good from showing hatred towards them. Or if you do forgive them then it would be a whole different perspective. If you forgive then you would receive something from it. You would be happy that you forgiven them and the other person who hurt you would loose because you wouldn't be mad at them and they wouldn't take pride because they didn't accomplish anything. Or some people would be relieved that you don't hate them.

"Dare to do right" - Rex D. Pinegar

This statement is telling us to do right. Everyone has dare someone to do something and most of the time it is something bad. But this statement is daring us to do what is right. Most of us have done what people have dared us to do. For example if they tell us to go do drugs and we do it it is not a good dare. But if they dare us do what is right then it is a good dare. Or if they tell us to go to school everyday until the end of the school year then it is good. And when thinking about it most of us won't even bother to try doing the good dare.  And most of us would want to accomplish the bad dare. So instead of doing bad dares try making an effort to do what is right.

This statement tells us to be alone alone doing right.  If everyone is doing something wrong and your the only one doing right but you have the thought that you are not fitting in. Then stand stand alone because if you try to fit in and want to do something bad then don't try. Because if you do then you will receive consequences. It is better to stand alone because then you prevent yourself from getting in trouble. For example if everyone is doing drugs drugs and you are not but yet you are tempted into doing it then you should't do it. Either you choose the right or the wrong. If you are tempted you should think about the consequences. If you do the right thing then it is better.  And instead think about the good you are doing.

Duties and Responsibilities: They review the patients medical history and any other notes from doctors in the past. They diagnose patients function and movements by observing their stand and walking concerns. They use exercising methods to help relieve the patients pain wherever in the body.  And educate patients and family members on their recovery process.

Reflection: I would not want to become a physical therapist because it does not interest me. I would like to become a surgeon instead because I want to perform procedures in the operating room of also known as the o.r.

This statement means to me that if we have goals that we want to achieve then we could do that. All we have to do is pursuing them and working hard to achieve. If you do the right thing then you'll achieve it faster. For example if your goal is to get a good grade in your class then it is possible. All you have to do is make an effort in studying for every test you take. And you are doing the right thing by studying for your test because you are getting closer to achieving your goal. Or if you want to be the smartest person then that applies to the first example. When Dan say that everything will fall into line that if another way of saying if you follow your goals then you would achieve it. 

 

Molecular Biologist

Duties and Responsibilities: They study cell process in humans, they run different experiments to  gain knowledge and to improve on their health and computation rate. There are other molecular biologist that improve or develop new drugs to fight off different diseases. 

Education: Bachelor of science in biological sciences, Master of science in Molecular and Cell Biology, and doctoral degrees for researchers.

Demand: Molecular Biologist is projected to grow 8% as fast as average for all occupations. 

Reflection: I would not want to become a Molecular Biologist because in order to be one you have to have patience and balance. Because if you don't and you mess up then you get your first warning of getting fired.

Theses 4 success tips are very helpful because they are things you should do in the future. You should always work hard to achieve your goals. Don't give up easily. Don't give up your passion. Maybe something good will come out of it. Never go after money if you want money then get an education and work for it. Don't do bad or illegal things to get money. Serve others in other words be the nice person get along with everyone. Treat others the way you would want to be treated. If you treat other poorly then they would treat you the same. Or if you treat them good then the same would go back to you. By following these success tips you could achieve in live and be successful.

The more good values the more good things will be important.  An example would be if a stranger would be dying and an animal would be dying too. What would you choose to save. Another example if your special photos fell into the ocean and across from it is someone actually drowning which would you choose. If you would have a value Then you would choose to save the person. Because you know that that is more important. And also because you can make new memories. And you can't make a person the same way. And, it is more important to save a persons life instead.

This statement is telling us to do the right thing. For example if is someone is getting bullied and you don't know what to do about it your immediate reaction should be to do the right thing and stand up. You shouldn't just stand there and do nothing. Put yourself in their position. Wouldn't you want someone to stand up for you is you are getting bullied instead of the other person just watching. Another example is if you find money on the floor then you should return because it is the right thing to do. You shouldn't be contemplating weather or not you should give it back to the owner.

You don't win anything when do do what is wrong. But the only thing you gain when doing the right thing is knowledge. For example, if you are cheating and doing the wrong thing then you do not learn or gain nothing. Because you are just copying and trying to get your work finished. And if you are doing the work by yourself then you are leaning and gaining knowledge.

If you are planning to step up then do it at the right time. If someone is getting bullied then you should stand up for that person. Don't just stand there and witness it. Do something about it but stand up when the person is getting bullied. Another example is the teacher marked a problem the was wrong right. And then you don't do nothing about it that shows your character. And if you do say that you didn't mark the wrong answers worn then you are showing integrity.

This statement is telling us to keep our promises. A promise is never to be broken. For example is you say your are going to do something then do it. If you say your a going to meet up somewhere and you don't at least tell the person before that you can't go. When you do that then it is considered not breaking a promise because you are letting them know you won't be able to assist. And if you don't tell the person nothing then you are breaking a promise. Promises and never to be broken. You should always keep your word of honor. How would you fell if someone didn't keep a promise with you. If you someone would tell lets go to the mall and you get there and they are not there how would you react. And if they tell you that they are not going to be able to assist in going then they are keeping their promise.

And to have respect also to be kind to others. Also, to appreciate nature, we shouldn't do damage to the earth.

Goodness never fails because it will always be there. When you try to invest in something it is hard to get others on your side. Most of the time when you try to invest in something, there is always one thing that goes wrong. Either it is not investing in it properly or something else. And when you try to invest in goodness you are most likely to invest in it better. People normally invest in things to earn more money. When you invest in goodness you can make more goodness out of good. Goodness never fails even though you mess up. And if you mess up then you can try again. Try for yourself and experience how you can invest in goodness.

This statement tell us to not make choices because we are forced to do them. You choose the choices you make because they are right. Don't be a follower be a leader. If everybody at school is choosing to do drugs don't go right away and follow them because you want to be cool and fit in. You should do whatever is right. If you have a test and to get everything correct on the test you have to cheat. Don't choose to do it because it is easy. If want something from the store and you don't want to steal therefore your only option to obtain the object you want is to steal. Don't do it because it is cheap. Instead waste your money and choose to waist is because it is right. In conclusion, you shouldn't do something bad because it is popular. Do only the right thing because if you do something bad you will face the consequences.

Optometrist Technician or assistant   

Duties and Responsibilities: Optometrists technicians work with optometrist to assist in carrying out eye treatment and treatments. They work in eye clinics and vision treatment facilities. They prepare exam schedules and ready the exams rooms. They assist in making of repairing the eyeglasses.  They also clean used equipment they used. 

Education: Associates degree and optometrist technician training program worth of 2 years.

Reflection: I would not want to become a optometrist technician instead I would want to be a optometrist assistant because, it is similar as working with patients and similar to being a doctor.

This statement from Joseph Smith means that we have to make what sounds good and is good more popular. And not to influence the bad and only the good. If they are promoting Random acts of kindness like the Honda commercial, then you should do the same but spread it out and tell others what you are trying to spread out and accomplish. And the bad commercials which are not good do not promote them.  In other words you shouldn't tell your friends about the commercial you saw. Because if you do then that will make it more popular and no one wants something bad to become popular. Or if they are promoting to stop bullying then you should tell your friends about it. If they are promoting bullying and encouraging others to do it then do not tell nobody about it. Because then others will want to watch it and then you just made the bad become popular and the good become unpopular.

He is telling us to stick up for each other. Be each others hands and always be with people how have good character. Don't be with the people who don't choose the right. The more you are right the more others will stand with you. Be other's role models don't be a bad role model.  Be with people who are right and when the do in the other direction then you should lead them back into the right place. Don't choose the be wrong you should always be with right people and most importantly be right yourself. For example, if you are with people who are always on their best behavior then all of a sudden do bad things and change their whole personality and behavior then you should try to correct them. And if they don't go back to the way they were then don't be with them anymore. Because they will be a bad influence. Or if you hang out with bad people and they are all of sudden the nicest people who respect other then you should stand by them because they will influence you in doing good things.

You can be the coolest person in the world at your house, school, or anywhere. But, what really matters is your character. If you aren't great as a person then you are not considered better than a cool person. Having character is much more higher than being an intellect. Character shows who you are as a person. People will think good of you if you are a good character. For example if your are type of person that always is kind and nice to everyone then they will remember you as that person. Or is your are the type of person who is rude to everyone then they will have a bad thought of who you are. If you a the nice person then you are higher than the people who are cool for not reason.

This statement tells us to trust you instinct. And trust what your gut tells you to do. For example if you want to be the most educated person in the world then so be it. But, in order to be the most educated person in the world you will have to work hard. You can do anything you want as long as you work hard to achieve your goal. Or if you want to be the most talented person in a sport then work hard. Tyler Haws worked hard to make the most basketball hoops that anyone has made during a game. He achieved it by working hard for it and practicing every single day for 2 hours. So if you want to achieve a goal you will have to work hard for it. And, remember that your hard work will pay off. And if others tell you it is impossible then don't focus on what others think focus on achieving your goal.

You can have freedom if you obey the rules. If your parents take away your phone then you don't have freedom. If you are in detention you don't have freedom to leave school when the bell rings. If you do not follow what you are expected to do then you aren't able to have your freedom. If  you choose the right then you will not get your freedom taken away. The statement says it all. You can be independent if you do what is right. For example if your parents tell you not to use foul language and you still do then you will probably loose your freedom. Or if you are told to throw out the trash and you don't you'll loose freedom. Another example is if you use drugs then you will loose freedom and independence. Because someone will have to supervise you and check up on you to see if you are using drugs.

This statement is telling us to be good. People Judge you on who and what your character is. People will say you are truly great if you are truly good. Everyone has the potential to be truly great. But, they will only be considered great if they are only good.  For example, if you are great in school but not great at home or outside of school then you are not truly great. Because you will have to be a great person all the time not only at a specific place but everywhere. Another example is if you are good sometimes but not all the time. Then, you will not be considered great because, you are not good all the time. Finally,  if you are always good and always on your best behavior. Then that means that you are truly and truly a great person overall.

Demand: 24% (much faster than average)

Reflection: I would want to become an optician if I won't be able to be a surgeon. Because, I think it will be an interesting pathway. Also it is an easy career pathway.

This statement is telling us to not cheat. Don't do drugs at all. And also using steroids is cheating because it extends the performance of the athlete than what is capable of doing. When you cheat you don't have the same feeling as when you win from your own capability. For example you cheat on a test and you score a perfect score you don't feel the same way as if you were going to do achieve from not cheating. Or if you cheat on a mile test. You skip a lap and say you did it. It's not the same as doing it all. Or is you use steroids when you are going to play a game. And you do it others may not catch you. But you know that you did it and you will feel guilty yourself.

" I Won't Cheat " - Dale Murphy

This statement is telling us to not cheat. Dale Murphy the one who is telling us not to cheat because is we cheat then it will affect us. Not only in sports is cheating forbidding but throughout your whole life.  When you cheat not everyone will notice. But, when it seems suspicious that is when they start to notice. When you take test you are not suppose to cheat. But if you do cheat, then you will have to face your own actions. For example there are some people who do cheat in sports. Famous player cheat in sports too.  So, to sum this all up you shouldn't cheat ever.

"Character matters most" - Dale Murphy

This quote is telling us to to be a CTR person. He has no tattoos. He has never drank an alcoholic beverage. When he goes out with is friends he buys therm beverages but if there is alcoholic beverage he does not pay the tab. When he goes on a trip, he doesn't cheat on his wife. When he goes on a trip he always calls his family and checks up on how they doing. He always make a family prayer when he talks to them. For example you are about to play a game for your team and you are tempted to cheat and you do it you are not being a good character. But, when you are tempted to cheat but you don't do it you are a good character and that matters most. Because, that's how people see you and think of you.

St. Patrick's Day

Who was St. Patrick? : He was the patron saint of Ireland, one of  Christianity's most widely know figures. What is the purpose of st. Patrick's day?  It is a cultural and religious celebration March 17 the day the traditional death of Saint Patrick. Why is saint Patrick's day designed that day? It is a traditional death of Saint Patrick's Death. Why do wear green? It is a symbol to celebrate the Ireland flag. He died on March 17 , 461 ad. In Chicago they make their river green for saint Patrick's day.

This statement is telling us you don't need to have great strength. You don't need to be strong physically but you should have great strength mentally because it shows that you can do anything.  In life you don't need to be be strongest , the richest , and the most beautiful. Your heart should be the only one that is the best it is the one that counts the most. Don't be worried if everyone is better than you physically. But, you should be worried if someone is better than you be having a better heart than you do mentally. Having a better heart exceeds more than being rich. And then karma will go after you and you will receive the consequences for the action you took. Or if someone is telling you to do drugs with them and they say that they resolve your problems what do you do. You should contemplate because you already know what to do. If you say yes then karma will get you and you will be bargaining. If you say no then you will be happy that you made that choice because you won't be the one who did the drugs.

Reflection: I would not want to become and ophthalmologist because you need lots of patience and I don't have that. And you have to be extremely careful when perform an eye exam, you have to make sure your patient isn't allergic to the medications they use to numb your eye to get a better look at it.

When analyzing this statement we can infer that you can't predict your future but the only thing you can do is to make it the way you want it to be. If you want it to be a great future then you should do great things in your life. If you want a bad future then you should be careless. Another example of having a great future is do things for others and be by their side when they need a friend. Create you life the things you do today will affect tomorrow. If you want to be a tourist in the future then you should start from the day you decide it. And don't predict your future because anything can happen. Just go on with life and make it the best don't ruin your days.   

Operating room Technician 

Duties and Responsibilities :  They are surgical technicians they assist during physician or nurse supervision. They scrub into surgery with the surgeons. They prepare operating rooms and arrange equipment they need for surgery. They also ready patients for surgery and prep the O.R

Reflection : I would want to become a operating room technician because, it is a great start into becoming a surgeon. The demand/ job outlook is faster than average and they would hire lots of people who qualify to be one.

This is trying to tell us to think before we act. It is like how we have to think before we speak or say. Don't just act without thinking because bad things can come from it. For example if your mom tells you to be home by 5:00 and you decide to go home at 8:00 you are not thinking correctly. Because your mom is telling you to be home at specific time and your aren't obeying her then it will lead to serious consequences. So don't choose the wrong. Always choose the right and good things will happen to you. If you are not accordingly then make sure you are asking yourself am I doing something right. Or am I just trying to impress other. Asking yourself what you are doing and think twice. Therefore you should always choose the right because it benefit you in a good way. 

Occupational Medicine Physician 

Duties and Responsibilities : They diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses. They perform and diagnose test form their patients. They counsel patients on diet and health care.

Education : Doctoral or professional degree

Reflection : I would like to become a occupational medicine physician in the future. Because it is a great path to take in order to become a surgeon. And it is in the medical field.

"Act well your part ; there all honor lies." 

This quote is telling me to act well and not cheat. If you are fair then you will win things fair. You will be honored if you act well in your part. Meaning don't go against the rules. If you Are going to want to win fair then you will have to work yourself for it. Don't take things for granted. Whatever you do now will determine how people will treat you. If you behave bad or go against everything then people will treat you differently then how they would treat someone who follows the rules.  If you think about it the people who loose are happier then the people who cheat. 

Nursing Home Administer

Duties And Responsibilities : Provide basic care for patient's in hospitals and residents of long term care facilities. They clean bathe patients or residents, help patients use the toilet and dress. Listen or record patient health concerns and report information to nurses. Serve patient meals, and check vital signs such as Blood Pressure/ BP and temperature. 

Salary : $25,710 per year and $12.36 per hour 

Education : Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration or masters degree in long term in administration

Demand : 17% (much faster than average) 

Reflection : I would not want to become a Nursing Home administer. Because they earn the minimum wage and I would rather become a doctor or surgeon.

This statement seems like they are telling me to choose the right.  If you choose the right good things will come to you. For example if you always have manners then people with manners will approach more then people with no manners at all. By the last part you will be taken care of signifies that good things will happen to you. Because if you do you fell good inside like what Abraham Lincoln says. Another example if you help your mother clean the house then you will have the house clean and maybe she will reward you with something. And you won't feel guilty at all for not doing it.

THE NEUROSURGEON 

Duties and Responsibilities : They perform surgery in the brain spinal cords or nerves removing some tumors and relieve chronic pain.

Education : 4 years in undergraduate school and 4 years in med school then 6-7 years becoming a resident after you do 3-6 months of training in clinic neurosurgeon the 42 months in core clinical training

Reflection : I would want to become a neurosurgeon because it has always been my dream to become one. And if I become one I would be 31 years old when I become one done with school and everything.

Even if you say the partial true and you exclude the bad thing it is till a lie. If you go to a friends house after school and you tell your mom your at tutoring and you get home she asks you how was tutoring but you went to your friends house and you don't tell her it is a lie. If you go to the library and then you go to a bar and you don't tell your wife and you only include the part where your going to the library. But exclude the part where your going to the bar it is still a lie because you are not telling her the whole truth. How would you feel if someone lied you and told you the partial truth? You would feel mad or upset because that person lied to you. So don't be lying because you don't know how the person would feel. And if you are going to tell the truth tell the whole truth don't say the partial truth. Because it will make things worst. 

The Naturopathic Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities : A health care provider who treats patients using a system based on the healing power of nature. Ability to make connections , communication skills , management , and business skills

Education : Bachelor's degree as a minimum , masters degree , and certification may also be necessary.

 Demand : 12 % increase 

Reflection : I would want to become a nuturopathic doctor because it is in the medical field and it is what I am interested in working at. Also, you save lives everyday and it is your job to make sure that person lives and I am willing to do that in the future.
