"A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder." 

In life we all have goals and some of us don't. We either want to be something in the future or specialize a career field. Going back to the statement a boat uses a rudder to move in what direction they are willing to move in. And in live without goals you don't do anything and don't go anywhere. For example if you want to be a doctor in the future then you have a rudder because you know in what direction you will head towards. But, if you don't have a goal then you aren't going nowhere. So you don't know where you are leading to like a boat without a rudder you don't know where you are going. You just go where the wind is blowing to and that relates to having no goals. Another goal is wanting to make a difference in life. In order to achieve that goal you would need a rudder. To have a rudder in life you will have to set your mind to something you want. And with a rudder you would be able to manage where you want to go in life.

"Dare to do right" - Rex D. Pinegar

This statement is telling us to do right. Everyone has dare someone to do something and most of the time it is something bad. But this statement is daring us to do what is right. Most of us have done what people have dared us to do. For example if they tell us to go do drugs and we do it it is not a good dare. But if they dare us do what is right then it is a good dare. Or if they tell us to go to school everyday until the end of the school year then it is good. And when thinking about it most of us won't even bother to try doing the good dare.  And most of us would want to accomplish the bad dare. So instead of doing bad dares try making an effort to do what is right.

"Dare to stand alone" Thomas S. Manson

This statement tells us to be alone alone doing right.  If everyone is doing something wrong and your the only one doing right but you have the thought that you are not fitting in. Then stand stand alone because if you try to fit in and want to do something bad then don't try. Because if you do then you will receive consequences. It is better to stand alone because then you prevent yourself from getting in trouble. For example if everyone is doing drugs drugs and you are not but yet you are tempted into doing it then you should't do it. Either you choose the right or the wrong. If you are tempted you should think about the consequences. If you do the right thing then it is better.  And instead think about the good you are doing.

"The most important thing you will ever have is good values."-Dennis Prager 

This statement means nothing else is more important but good values. The more good values the more good things will be important.  An example would be if a stranger would be dying and an animal would be dying too. What would you choose to save. Another example if your special photos fell into the ocean and across from it is someone actually drowning which would you choose. If you would have a value Then you would choose to save the person. Because you know that that is more important. And also because you can make new memories. And you can't make a person the same way. And, it is more important to save a persons life instead.

"In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing." - Theodore Roosevelt

This statement is telling us to do the right thing. For example if is someone is getting bullied and you don't know what to do about it your immediate reaction should be to do the right thing and stand up. You shouldn't just stand there and do nothing. Put yourself in their position. Wouldn't you want someone to stand up for you is you are getting bullied instead of the other person just watching. Another example is if you find money on the floor then you should return because it is the right thing to do. You shouldn't be contemplating weather or not you should give it back to the owner. 

"My basic principle is that you don't make decisions because they are easy: you don't make them because they are cheap; you don't make them because they're popular; you make them because they are right." 

This statement tell us to not make choices because we are forced to do them. You choose the choices you make because they are right. Don't be a follower be a leader. If everybody at school is choosing to do drugs don't go right away and follow them because you want to be cool and fit in. You should do whatever is right. If you have a test and to get everything correct on the test you have to cheat. Don't choose to do it because it is easy. If want something from the store and you don't want to steal therefore your only option to obtain the object you want is to steal. Don't do it because it is cheap. Instead waste your money and choose to waist is because it is right. In conclusion, you shouldn't do something bad because it is popular. Do only the right thing because if you do something bad you will face the consequences.

"It is our duty to concentrate all our influence to make popular that which is sound and good, and unpopular that which is unsound"(not good) - Joseph Smith

This statement from Joseph Smith means that we have to make what sounds good and is good more popular. And not to influence the bad and only the good. If they are promoting Random acts of kindness like the Honda commercial, then you should do the same but spread it out and tell others what you are trying to spread out and accomplish. And the bad commercials which are not good do not promote them.  In other words you shouldn't tell your friends about the commercial you saw. Because if you do then that will make it more popular and no one wants something bad to become popular. Or if they are promoting to stop bullying then you should tell your friends about it. If they are promoting bullying and encouraging others to do it then do not tell nobody about it. Because then others will want to watch it and then you just made the bad become popular and the good become unpopular.

He is telling us to stick up for each other. Be each others hands and always be with people how have good character. Don't be with the people who don't choose the right. The more you are right the more others will stand with you. Be other's role models don't be a bad role model.  Be with people who are right and when the do in the other direction then you should lead them back into the right place. Don't choose the be wrong you should always be with right people and most importantly be right yourself. For example, if you are with people who are always on their best behavior then all of a sudden do bad things and change their whole personality and behavior then you should try to correct them. And if they don't go back to the way they were then don't be with them anymore. Because they will be a bad influence. Or if you hang out with bad people and they are all of sudden the nicest people who respect other then you should stand by them because they will influence you in doing good things.

"Character is higher than intellect."

You can be the coolest person in the world at your house, school, or anywhere. But, what really matters is your character. If you aren't great as a person then you are not considered better than a cool person. Having character is much more higher than being an intellect. Character shows who you are as a person. People will think good of you if you are a good character. For example if your are type of person that always is kind and nice to everyone then they will remember you as that person. Or is your are the type of person who is rude to everyone then they will have a bad thought of who you are. If you a the nice person then you are higher than the people who are cool for not reason.

"True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what's right." - Brigham Young 

You can have freedom if you obey the rules. If your parents take away your phone then you don't have freedom. If you are in detention you don't have freedom to leave school when the bell rings. If you do not follow what you are expected to do then you aren't able to have your freedom. If  you choose the right then you will not get your freedom taken away. The statement says it all. You can be independent if you do what is right. For example if your parents tell you not to use foul language and you still do then you will probably loose your freedom. Or if you are told to throw out the trash and you don't you'll loose freedom. Another example is if you use drugs then you will loose freedom and independence. Because someone will have to supervise you and check up on you to see if you are using drugs.

"They're only truly great who are truly good."  

This statement is telling us to be good. People Judge you on who and what your character is. People will say you are truly great if you are truly good. Everyone has the potential to be truly great. But, they will only be considered great if they are only good.  For example, if you are great in school but not great at home or outside of school then you are not truly great. Because you will have to be a great person all the time not only at a specific place but everywhere. Another example is if you are good sometimes but not all the time. Then, you will not be considered great because, you are not good all the time. Finally,  if you are always good and always on your best behavior. Then that means that you are truly and truly a great person overall.

"Character matters most" - Dale Murphy

This quote is telling us to to be a CTR person. He has no tattoos. He has never drank an alcoholic beverage. When he goes out with is friends he buys therm beverages but if there is alcoholic beverage he does not pay the tab. When he goes on a trip, he doesn't cheat on his wife. When he goes on a trip he always calls his family and checks up on how they doing. He always make a family prayer when he talks to them. For example you are about to play a game for your team and you are tempted to cheat and you do it you are not being a good character. But, when you are tempted to cheat but you don't do it you are a good character and that matters most. Because, that's how people see you and think of you.

"Ask yourself is it right or wrong and act accordingly." 

This is trying to tell us to think before we act. It is like how we have to think before we speak or say. Don't just act without thinking because bad things can come from it. For example if your mom tells you to be home by 5:00 and you decide to go home at 8:00 you are not thinking correctly. Because your mom is telling you to be home at specific time and your aren't obeying her then it will lead to serious consequences. So don't choose the wrong. Always choose the right and good things will happen to you. If you are not accordingly then make sure you are asking yourself am I doing something right. Or am I just trying to impress other. Asking yourself what you are doing and think twice. Therefore you should always choose the right because it benefit you in a good way.

Reflection : I would like to become a occupational medicine physician in the future. Because it is a great path to take in order to become a surgeon. And it is in the medical field.

Nursing Home Administer

Duties And Responsibilities : Provide basic care for patient's in hospitals and residents of long term care facilities. They clean bathe patients or residents, help patients use the toilet and dress. Listen or record patient health concerns and report information to nurses. Serve patient meals, and check vital signs such as Blood Pressure/ BP and temperature. 

Salary : $25,710 per year and $12.36 per hour 

Education : Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration or masters degree in long term in administration

Demand : 17% (much faster than average) 

Reflection : I would not want to become a Nursing Home administer. Because they earn the minimum wage and I would rather become a doctor or surgeon.

This statement seems like they are telling me to choose the right.  If you choose the right good things will come to you. For example if you always have manners then people with manners will approach more then people with no manners at all. By the last part you will be taken care of signifies that good things will happen to you. Because if you do you fell good inside like what Abraham Lincoln says. Another example if you help your mother clean the house then you will have the house clean and maybe she will reward you with something. And you won't feel guilty at all for not doing it.

"Right is right only when entire." Victor Hugo

Even if you say the partial true and you exclude the bad thing it is till a lie. If you go to a friends house after school and you tell your mom your at tutoring and you get home she asks you how was tutoring but you went to your friends house and you don't tell her it is a lie. If you go to the library and then you go to a bar and you don't tell your wife and you only include the part where your going to the library. But exclude the part where your going to the bar it is still a lie because you are not telling her the whole truth. How would you feel if someone lied you and told you the partial truth? You would feel mad or upset because that person lied to you. So don't be lying because you don't know how the person would feel. And if you are going to tell the truth tell the whole truth don't say the partial truth. Because it will make things worst. 

The Naturopathic Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities : A health care provider who treats patients using a system based on the healing power of nature. Ability to make connections , communication skills , management , and business skills

Education : Bachelor's degree as a minimum , masters degree , and certification may also be necessary.

Reflection : I would want to become a nuturopathic doctor because it is in the medical field and it is what I am interested in working at. Also, you save lives everyday and it is your job to make sure that person lives and I am willing to do that in the future. 

Military medical

Duties and Responsibilities: They give health care to  people in the navy and emergency help. They assist other professions when performing surgery. 

Salary: $5,462 monthly or $65,544 annually  

Education:  Complete your A- School and enroll into navy medical treatment facilities

Demand:  75% 

Reflection : No, I would not want to be a military medical because,  I would not want to leave me family. Many people who come back are scared and dramatized. So their behavior is not like ours.
