When reading this quote imagine it like a bicycle. Intelligence would be the front tire of the bicycle and character would be that back tire of the bicycle. Say you only have intelligence and have have no character. You will only have the front tire and you will struggle riding the bicycle. Or if you only have character and no intelligence the you would only have the back tire. Intelligence stands for education. Character stands for having a heart being nice to each other and not being mean to one another. The real reason we go to school is that we need to learn how to have a complete bicycle in other words having character and intelligence at the sametime. Once you have intelligence and character at the same time then you have learned true education.
