Medical Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:  They greet patients, update and fill out patient medical records, code and fill out insurance forms, schedule apportionment, handle correspondence, billing, and bookkeeping. 

Salary: $14.71 hourly $30,590 yearly 

Education: Post secondary non degree award 

Demand:  23%  591,300 jobs

Reflection: I would want to become a MA because, it is a great start to becoming a doctor. You get a perspective on what's it like in the medical field. And you gain a lot of knowledge from it.

Take responsibility for your own actions. Every bad thing you do has consequences. For example if someone offers  you drugs and you take the offer than you will receive the consequences because you were the one who said you'll take the offer. Or if you are ever caught stealing from someone and they say that you are the one who stole from them. Tell the truth because it will benefit your mind. It will benefit your mind because you will have it clear that you told someone what you did. Versus if you didn't tell them then you will always be nervous and hoping that nobody catches you. And if you don't tell them then you are doing something bad again such as lying. As well for spiritual you will be peaceful and not have nothing to worry about.

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Duties and Responsibilities: They compile patient health information, take vital signs, administer medication and monitor frequency and amounts, supervise nursing assistants and aids, and provide care and also feeding infants. 

Salary: $20.86 hourly $43,170 yearly 

Education: Diploma in practical nursing

Demand for this profession: 16% during 2014-2024

Reflection: Of course I would want to become a Lpn because it is a great start into becoming a doctor. It gives a perspective of working with medical issues. They make median salary and the job growth it more than other professions. 

 

"Intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education" - Martin Luther King

 When reading this quote imagine it like a bicycle. Intelligence would be the front tire of the bicycle and character would be that back tire of the bicycle. Say you only have intelligence and have have no character. You will only have the front tire and you will struggle riding the bicycle. Or if you only have character and no intelligence the you would only have the back tire. Intelligence stands for education. Character stands for having a heart being nice to each other and not being mean to one another. The real reason we go to school is that we need to learn how to have a complete bicycle in other words having character and intelligence at the sametime. Once you have intelligence and character at the same time then you have learned true education. 

Kinesiologist

Duties and Responsibilities: They help strengthen the bones and muscles by designing proper exercising schedules and diet for people for people who have to perform aggressive task everyday. They also work in rehabilitation of the physical injuries of sportsmen or accidental injuries that the patient has. 

Salary: $81.73

Education: Bachelor's degree

Demand for this profession: 36% 

Reflection: I would not want to be a kinesiologist . Because  it does not call my attention. One of the reasons is if you make a mistake in their exercising schedules you could pretty much mess up on what they are trying to accomplish.

It's a new year and you know what they say New Year New Me. Well you can start by doing new things and giving back to others. We should stop the bad things that we do. Such as feeding the homeless and other things relating to it. And everyday everybody does bad things but we don't notice it. And we need to stop that.

School break days

Over spring break I spend my time and got together with family members. I went to the grove at Beverly hills. People I met were long distance most of them live in Seattle. Movies that I saw were Best Night Ever. It is a comedy movie that was filmed in Las Vegas. Sports I played was volleyball. Sadly I did not have any CTR experiences. I finished the ctr project that Mr. Haymore assigned us. I went ice skating in front of the staples center. I also went to Six Flags before my season pass expired in 2016. I also wrote in my life panning goals journal.
